These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Iskra Worlds app and related services (the “Service”), operated by Blazefield Labs (“Iskra Worlds”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Iskra Worlds
The Service is set up and managed by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live). You use the Service on behalf of your child, and you are responsible for supervising your child’s use and for the information you add about your family.
Your account
You need an account to use the Service. Keep your sign-in details secure - you are responsible for activity that happens under your account. The information you provide should be accurate, and you confirm you have the right to add the names and details of the family members you include.
How the Service works
Iskra Worlds generates personalized audio stories starring your child, the cast you create, and a companion you name, set in worlds you choose. While you have an active subscription, new episodes are generated automatically on the schedule you set. Stories are produced by automated systems; we work hard on quality and age-appropriateness, but content is generated automatically and may vary.
The free story and subscriptions
Each new account includes one free story for your child. Unlocking ongoing, automatically-generated episodes and new worlds requires a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their terms, and charged to your store account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your app store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If your subscription lapses, your child keeps access to every story already made, but no new episodes are generated until you subscribe again.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.
Acceptable use
Iskra Worlds is for your family’s personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- Misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Copy, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying software or catalog.
- Add names or content you do not have the right to use.
- Redistribute, sell, or publicly share the generated stories.
- Use the Service in any way that breaks applicable law.
Content and ownership
The app, its catalog (worlds, companions, and story designs), software, and brand are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws.
The personal details you add remain yours. You grant us the limited license needed to use them to generate and deliver stories to you.
The generated stories are provided for your family’s personal, non-commercial enjoyment - you may listen to them and download them for offline use, but not redistribute or sell them.
Availability and changes to the Service
We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim for a reliable service but cannot guarantee it will always be available or uninterrupted.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. The stories are automatically generated entertainment and are not a substitute for professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iskra Worlds will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access to accounts that violate these Terms or that we are required to act on by law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above, and for significant changes we’ll let you know in the app. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of North Macedonia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
